This page gives an opportunity for local trade union branches or affiliates to Bristol Trades Union Council to tell the wider labour movement about activities that their branch has engaged in, but don’t necessarily want the support of others. These activities might be –
- making a donation to a campaign or labour movement organisation;
- having a discussion at a branch meeting on a particular topic;
- branch education;
- a branch celebratory event i.e. 40 year membership badges or retirement
- organised a group of members to attend an event or maybe a branch outing
If you want to tell others what you’re up to either
- Leave a reply in the section below. You will have to register with WordPress.
- Send an email to bristoltradesunioncouncil@gmail.com

Bristol National Education Union (NEU), friends and colleagues of the late Nina Franklin have made donations in her name to support the work of the Hebron International Resources Network (HIRN). Nina, a Bristol-based organiser and past President of the National Union of Teachers (now the NEU), was a long-standing defender of Palestinian rights and deeply committed to education and social justice. The Nina Franklin Fund will be used by HIRN to provide educational facilities such as new classrooms and a garden for children in South Hebron.
