Solidarity with striking care and rail workers

Bristol Trades Union Council delivered solidarity to Unison members from St Monica’s Trust, and RMT rail workers on strike this week.

St Monica’s care workers are striking against cuts to pay totalling up to £3,500 a year, cuts to sick pay and working hours, workers being bullied into accepting changes.

£300 million profit for companies who operate trains and £949 million for those who own them, but pay is frozen and services are being cut.
