A protest organised by Unite the Union and the Bristol People’s Assembly will be taking place this

Tuesday 13th September 2016,
College Green, Bristol at 5pm

Cuts are being forced upon the Council by the ideologically driven, free market agenda of the current Conservative Government, but notwithstanding this that the Council’s leadership and the leadership of Bristol must push back to Whitehall and oppose these cuts. Bristol Trades Union Council (Bristol TUC)  opposes all cuts to jobs & services – we will campaign to defend all threatened jobs & services and believe that our local politicians should be fighting the cuts. Bristol Trades Union Council (Bristol TUC) urges all trade unionists to attend and show solidarity at the event for our fellow trade unionists who work tirelessly in the Council.
