For trade unionists Tony Benn was a champion of working people campaigning for trade union rights and trade union freedoms. He was at the fore-front of the campaigns to oppose all anti-union laws as well as promoting and defending collective bargaining.

For many years he served as Vice-President of the Campaign for Trade Union Freedom having been a long time supporter of the fore runner organisations, The Campaign To Repeal the Anti–Union Laws and the Liasion Committee For The Defence Of Trade Unions.

Bristol Trades Union Council is sure that this film will encourage those that see it to get involved in the battles that are to come in 2018.
